Founded in 2023 by Pauline Stephanie Nieves, Usafi Cleaning Maine is a woman-owned, minority-led cleaning company proudly serving residential, commercial, and government clients across Maine. Based in Standish and Portland, our mission is rooted in values of family, hard work, and integrity inspired by Stephanie’s upbringing with her grandmother in West Africa, where every day began with care, cleanliness, and purpose.

After arriving in the U.S. on a student visa and starting a family of her own, Stephanie faced the same challenge many families do: finding a reliable, eco-conscious cleaning service. When she couldn’t find one that met her standards for quality and professionalism, she built her own and Usafi Cleaning Maine was born.
