Pricing and Payment

At USAFI Cleaning Maine, we make payment easy and convenient for our clients. We accept the following payment methods:
• Credit & Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)
• Zelle or Venmo (ask for details)
• Invoices for commercial clients and recurring services (Net 7 or Net 15 terms available)

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your invoice after each service. For your convenience, payment is due upon completion of the cleaning unless otherwise arranged.

Tipping is never expected but always appreciated. If you're happy with the service, a tip is a wonderful way to show your appreciation to your cleaner. You can tip in cash or add it to your invoice—whichever is easier for you!

Your Appointment

If a scheduled cleaning falls on a holiday, We will contact you in advance to reschedule at a convenient time. We’ll work with you to find the next best available slot that fits your schedule, no extra fees, just flexible service you can count on.

The amount will be placed on hold once you book your cleaning, but your card will only be charged after the service is completed. For recurring clients, we also offer automated billing options for added convenience.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. To avoid a cancellation fee, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. A $75 cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made within that window, and same-day cancellations will incur a charge of 50% of the total service cost to cover scheduling expenses.

We always try our best to assign the same cleaner or team to your property for consistency and peace of mind. However, due to scheduling or availability, we may occasionally send a trusted alternate—rest assured, all our team members are fully trained, background-checked, and committed to our high standards.

Not at all! Many of our clients provide entry instructions or key access. As long as we can safely access your space, we’ll take care of everything and leave your home sparkling clean. If you prefer to be home, that’s fine too!

Cleaning Supplies

Nope—we bring everything we need! Usafi Cleaning Maine uses professional-grade, eco-friendly, and pet-safe products along with all the necessary tools. However, if you have specific products or equipment you’d like us to use, just let us know in advance.

General

While we offer a wide range of residential and commercial cleaning services, we do not provide:

Hazardous waste removal

Mold remediation

Deep carpet shampooing (unless scheduled in advance)

Pest control

Outdoor landscaping or snow removal

Biohazard or hoarding clean-ups (unless pre-approved)

Yes! Usafi Cleaning Maine is fully bonded and insured for your peace of mind. Our coverage includes liability insurance and workers’ compensation to protect both your property and our team.

Trust and Safety

Yes. Our online payment system uses Stripe, which is one of the world's largest online payment processors. No critical credit card information is stored on our servers and all communication is encrypted with an SSL certificate.

Absolutely. Every team member undergoes a comprehensive background check, identity verification, and reference screening. They also receive professional training on safety, cleaning standards, and customer service. We only hire individuals who meet our high standards of trust and integrity.

Only your assigned cleaner(s) and our management team will have access to any provided keys or entry codes. We store all keys securely and label them without identifying information. Your security is our priority.

We treat your home with the utmost care. In the rare event that something is damaged or goes missing, we ask that you notify us within 24 hours. We will investigate immediately and either repair, replace, or provide appropriate compensation, depending on the situation. Our team is trained to report any incidents right away.
